About KAZI SHAHNOOR

In my pursuit of a fulfilling livelihood, I have embarked on a career in the corporate world, only to realize that personal growth is overshadowed by the growth of servitude. Seeking financial prosperity, I ventured as an expatriate to various countries, enduring numerous struggles and sacrificing precious years of youth. However, the returns on my investment of time were disappointingly meager. Throughout my travels to eighteen countries, I sought a sustainable life where happiness superseded the importance of money, yet I encountered the prevalence of corporatocracy everywhere. The tiresome corporate culture has left me feeling exhausted and disenchanted.

In my quest for a sustainable existence, I turned to Permaculture education, and unexpectedly, the arrival of the Corona pandemic proved to be a blessing in disguise. It made me realize that relentlessly pursuing money as a means to attain happiness is a fallacy. Thus, I found myself compelled to return to my home country. Understanding that true freedom lies in living within nature as an integrated organism of ecology, I have been confronted with numerous challenges. After spending nearly fifteen years living abroad, I have witnessed significant changes in my homeland. Heavy industrialization has taken hold, polluting the environment, while corruption and greed have become pervasive. The pursuit of financial growth within the confines of corporatocracy has consumed the thoughts of people, leaving little room for alternative perspectives.

In the midst of this situation in my country, I embarked on a journey towards sustainability with Gaia Education.
